| Pros |
Car AC quick connectors can be stored on the manifold, good if you work on a lot of car systems |
Great AC system manifold or all 1/4" ports except R410a |
5/16" Hose fittings good for traditional R410a systems |
The real mighty manifold for all 1/4" port systems |
| Cons |
No 1/4" hose rest anchors if no quick connector |
No place for Car AC Quick adapter |
Need adapters for all 1/4" port AC systems |
Need adapters to work on 5/16" port R410a systems |

General:
Note to New Comers: Be aware of most manifolds sold at EBay have hoses with open connectors, inexperienced field men/women may get hot refrigerant in their hand/get burned when disconnecting those hoses from the system!!! The VIOT brand manifold gauges you are looking at now will NOT do that, these hoses have Enviro-Safe connectors(valve in the connectors and self closing), they are EPA applied, they retain refrigerant when disconnected. If you do not understand this, email me.
If you have a question about the gas pressure manifold gauge sets? feel free to ask.
Q:What is so good of your manifold gauges?
A: When deciding on buying a gauge with hoses set, here are a few factors to consider:
- EPA requires all hoses have enviro-safe valves, so that the refrigerant will be retained in the hoses when detached.
- Length of the hoses: 3, 5, or 6 feet are the standard lengths. in most cases, 3 is too short, 5 is adequate in most services.
- Seals(O-rings) at the ends of the hoses/valve: Teflon is 10 times more durable than rubber.
- Construction of the manifold body: Aluminum alloy block is much more durable than brass.
- Additional thing like sight viewing glass, make charging and reclaiming easier.
- Size and accuracy of the gauges. Out gauges are produced and calibrated at factory according to the highest
industrial standard for pressure gauges, meet or exceed the standards any where in the world.
Q: I ordered your manifold gauge set GM410 and need to work on R22 systems what adapter is needed?
A:
Thank you for the purchase. We have adapters or additional hose set which ever you prefer to use:
Here are the solutions: IF you purchased GM410 without asking the hose change over:
1. get another set of hoses with 1/4" fittings(800 PSI working pressure 4000 PSI burst pressure), EPA applied refrigerant retaining hose set, 5 foot long each. your cost $30 plus $5.00 for shipping.
2. get a set of adapters modeled CV32 (2 of them, 5/16" X 1/4" ), your cost $20 shipped.
3. ship the hoses you have received back to us with $7.00 check for return shipping cost, we will change the hoses(with 1/4" fittings) for you.
IF you purchased GM410 and did have the hose change over to 1/4" hose fittings and want to use the gauge on 5/16" systems:
1. get another set of hoses with 5/16" fittings(800 PSI working pressure 4000 PSI burst pressure), EPA applied refrigerant retaining hose set, 5 foot long each. your cost $30 plus $5.00 for shipping.
2. get a set of adapters modeled CV23 (2 of them, 1/4" X 5/16"), your cost $20 shipped.
3. ship the hoses you have received back to us with $7.00 check for return shipping cost, we will change the hoses(with 5/16" hose fittings) for you.
choice 1 and 2 will let you use the same manifold gauge set on all systems with 5/16" and 1/4" ports, these offer is for buyers like you only others have a higher price tag.
make your choice now and make a payment directly to zohnm@yahoo.com and tell me what it is for. once received, we will ship your item. or choice 3 with a personal check. we will help you out any way you prefer.
Q:How to attach the gauges to the AC system?
A: See the picture for hooking up your equipment for different services bellow:

Q: Can I use the GM410 gauge set on the other refrigerant systems?
A: The answer is yes, some may recommend not. The R410 systems are at higher pressure and have 5/16" MFL SAE service ports(most of them, some newer systems may have 1/4" ports). So, out GM410 gauge set has standard hose connectors of 5/16" FFL SAE. If you are intending to use GM410 on other systems, make sure to to use this gauge set on the other refrigerant systems(say, R22 system), you will need an adapter set of 5/16" MFL X 1/4" FFL to do the services. Or take the option of the hoses with 1/4" fittings, its free. Actually, our GM410 gauge set are marked with R22, R 404A temperatures for convenience.
Q: Can I use the GMac gauge set on the R410A systems?
A: The answer is generally, No. The R410 systems are at higher pressure(700 PSI) and beyond the range of the regular gauge set(500 PSI). If you do not have the R410 gauge set and need to use your regular gauge set on R410 system, you will need an adapter set of 5/16" FFL X 1/4" MFL to do the services.
Q: How do I connect the manifold to the system?
A: the Most common connections and valves positions are recommended for different jobs.
