If you do not know what this is for, this item is not likely for you. This sensor goes with any equipment that takes K type thermocouple input, including clamp meter or multimeter. HVAC folks: its easier if you have 2 of the thermocouples when you are out taking system sub-cool and super-heat. one for each line, just switch at the plug. No waiting to switch the sensor tip location from line to line and wait for the temperature to get steady. take booth temperatures to save you valuable time(at least 10 minutes!).
